There has been a lot of buzz in the media focused on Chile over the past year. From February 2010's earthquake and tsunami to the amazing rescue of the 33 Chilean miners. Most recently, The New York Times ranked Santiago, Chile the number one destination for places to visit in 2011.
Santiago's quick recovery from last years earthquake plus it's exploding tourism, art, and culture scene has really put it on the international map.

Ski Magazines Top Five Reasons to Ski in Chile This Summer
Ski Magazine has just released 5 reasons to Ski Chile, along with a good photo slide show from journalist Tom Winters recent travels to Chile.
